Our Company
A table set for every family that walks through our door.
Kintru was built around the belief that families deserve clear, non-pressuring support — at every stage of their story.
How Kintru began
Kintru grew out of a straightforward observation: families dealing with change — blended households, international moves, shifting routines — often struggle to find practical, non-judgemental support that stops well short of giving professional advice.
We set up in Chiang Mai because the city is home to a rich mix of families: Thai, expat, internationally mobile and everything in between. What they share is a need for somebody calm and organised to help them sort out the day-to-day paperwork, shared systems and logistics that accumulate around family life.
The name Kintru is drawn from the Japanese concept of kintsugi — the art of mending broken things with gold. We are not in the business of mending anything broken, but we do believe that most family structures, however complicated, contain their own quiet strength. Our job is to help the practical side of things hold together a little better.
What we stand for
-
Patience before solutions
We listen before we suggest. Every household is different and no two enquiries call for the same response.
-
Clarity over complexity
We keep processes simple and language plain. The people we work with should always know where things stand.
-
Scope we respect
We are an information and administrative service, not a counselling or legal service. We stay within that boundary and are transparent about it.
-
Warmth without pressure
Nobody who reaches out to Kintru should feel rushed, judged or pushed. We want every interaction to feel like a conversation, not a sales process.

How We Work
The principles that shape every engagement, from first enquiry to final handover.
Initial Conversation First
Every engagement starts with a no-obligation conversation. We listen to what you need and discuss whether any of our services is a sensible fit.
Data Handled with Care
Anything you share with us is used only to deliver the service you've requested. We do not share personal information with third parties without your knowledge.
Clear Scope, Every Time
Before we begin any service, we agree in writing on what is and is not included. No surprises — you know exactly what you are getting.
Neutral, Non-Directive Stance
We do not take sides, offer opinions on personal decisions or steer families towards any particular outcome. Our role is to make the practical side clearer.
Materials Handed Over Properly
At the end of every engagement, you receive all documents, folders and notes in a format that works for your household — not locked away in our systems.
Follow-Up as Standard
We check in after completion to make sure the systems we set up are working for you. If something needs adjusting, we want to know.
Family administration support in Chiang Mai
Kintru works with a wide range of household arrangements — single-parent households, international couples, blended families spanning multiple countries, and long-term expats who have built their lives in northern Thailand. What brings people to us is usually a pile of paperwork that has outgrown the kitchen drawer, or a shared calendar that stopped working months ago.
Our services are deliberately administrative in nature. We are not mediators, counsellors or legal advisors. We help families put their information in order, build systems that keep households running and coordinate the logistics of daily life across separate homes. That is a smaller scope than some people expect — and we think it is precisely the right size for what we do well.
Chiang Mai has a strong tradition of community and neighbourhood connection. Kintru tries to carry some of that spirit into the work we do — showing up, being present, and leaving things a little clearer than we found them.
